Ok this one is pretty simple right... well sort of. Lets see... Ok, Baby Godzilla has grown since we last saw him and is known as Little Godzilla and has taken up residence on Birth Island where Daddy Godzilla has been known to visit from time to time to see how things are going. Meanwhile a special group of operatives from the G-Force are on the island to try to set up a trap for Godzilla and inject him with something that is supposed to kill him... yeah right. Oh and there is something about Miki and her friends trying to use their psychic powers to control Godzilla too... Look I don't care about all that crap with the people talking! All they are good for is to stand around and look relieved at the end of the movie!
Meanwhile in the depths of space heading toward earth at light speed is a strange crystalline meteor! Mothra and the Cosmos Fairies make a brief cameo to warn that the meteor is actually an evil space monster bent upon destroying the Earth. G-Force springs to action and sends it's latest giant robot/weapon The MOGUERA (Mobile Operations Godzilla Universal Expert Robot Aerotype) to try to stop it in the styrofoam-ball belt in space . MOGUERA fails and the evil space monster, SpaceGodzilla cames to earth where he captures Little Godzilla and embarks on a quest of destruction eventually winding up in the middle of Tokyo (like we didn't know that was gonna happen).
After a bunch of speculation about the possible origins of SpaceGodzilla (Godzilla cells somehow got into space and fell through a blackhole... Aww who cares!) it is desided that Godzilla is Earth's only chance against this new menace and MOGUERA is sent to help Godzilla. We get to see MOGUERA split into two vehicles the aerial Star Falcon and the earth burrowing Land Mogera. Can the combined might of Godzilla and MOGUERA stop SpaceGodzilla's evil rampage?
The only thing that saves this one is the fight scenes and the neat giant robot. The origin of SpaceGodzilla is the silliest thing I've heard yet and the scenes with little Godzilla weren't needed at all. What's up with Little Godzilla anyway? In the last movie he looked like a juvenile dinosaur type creature now he looks like Godzooky, that goofy thing from that '70's cartoon show! Give me a break!
