The Magic Castle tank met its fate today... I finally gave up on it and transfered all alive Sea-Monkeys
into the Galleon tank. I can't find Spike. He is missing and presumed dead. While cleaning the contents
of the castle tank I found another dead female... she hadn't been dead long and I think it was Darleen.
I rinsed out the castle tank and it was pretty cruddy. I don't exactly know what went wrong with the Magic
Castle experiment except that perhaps they were over fed and were being slowly suffocated. The adults that
I moved to the Galleon tank seem to be fine now, they swam around and appeared to be meeting their new
tank mates and exploring their new home. I added a small scoop of Sea-Medic to the Galleon tank in an
effort to try to help them to adjust. I will keep a close eye on them.
Reports from Mars are that the newest colony is doing A-OK. Most of the Sea-Monkeys on mars are about half grown.
there don't seem to be an evidence of any deaths so far and that is excellent. There are a lot of new tiny ones
in the mars tank so I figure some more eggs must have hatched recently. The Martians are eating well and
have lapped up all the growth food and their tank is still clear and clean.
