We will be feeding the Sea-Monkeys in both tanks either tomorrow or Sunday and it's time for the
Magic Castle tank to get it's first dose of Plasma 4. I will have to say that the Galleon tank has
recovered nicely in the past week. There are four adults in it and several small Sea-Monkeys.
Today I discovered lots of teeny tiny babys have appeared in the Galleon tank. Over in the
castle tank the progress is fast and steady. There are a lot of really big adults in there now
and I have seen several little babies which have appeared since last night. I am not sure where
these babies are coming from... I don't think any of the sea-monkeys are old enough to mate yet.
Perhaps a few latent eggs have hatched in both tanks? Who knows... but they are all healthy and
happy and seem to enjoy it most when the water temperature is around 78°F. These stick-on
aquarium thermometers are the best things we have purchased since the Million-Bubble
Air Pump.
They say that Sea-Monkeys are virtually maintenance free; I say they aren't quite telling the truth.
Sea-Monkeys require care... maybe not as much as a dog or a cat but certainly more than a Pet Rock!
