A Whole Lotta Lovin' Goin' On
It's springtime in Sea-Monkeyland these days. Sea-Monkey fancies have turned to love. Even mean ol' Spike
has softened his black heart for a little lovin'! Last night I saw Jaws swimming the nasty with one
of his ladies. I think I shall call Jaws' mate "Darleen" and Spike's mate will be "Becky". Both Darleen
and Becky are sporting full egg pouches. Looks like we can expect new babies soon.
Over on Mars, new Sea-Monkeys are everywhere! They seem to be progressing along nicely. This morning
I gave the Mars tank it's daily aeration and I aerated the other tanks as well. I
usually give them about 15 pumps from the Million-Bubble Air Pump. This afternoon I fed the
galleon tank and the castle tank. The care package from Transcience arrived yesterday so they all got
Banana Treat this time. The Sea-Monkeys in the Mars tank aren't quite ready to be fed so they will get their first
feeding next time the other tanks get fed, and the castle tank will get it's next dose of plasma then
as well. Maybe next week I will send off for some Sea-Diamonds... I had wanted to get some Cupid's
Arrow too, but I don't think we need any of that at this time. Someone asked me recently about the
differences in the designs of the Magic Castle and Mars tanks so I have included a picture of both of
them side by side so they can be compared. the Mars tank is taller and slightly skinnier than the
Magic Castle tank as you can see.
I have read other owners complain about the Magic Castle tank leaking, but I haven't experienced
this at all. One owner said he added water and came back the next day and it had all leaked out. I
believe that this problem has been fixed now since I haven't noticed any problems with my tanks.
